No 1.CHANGE THE SCHOOL BOARD THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT GOOD FOR OUR SCHOOL IMAGE, LEAVE OUR PRINCIPAL AND GET HIM A FEMALE NOT MALE VICE PRICIPAL, AND START GETTING OUR STUDENTS WHO WE PAY LOTS OF MONEY FOR BETTER EDUCATED AUSSIE TEACHERS WITH FLUENT ENGLISH NOT BROKEN ENGLISH AND AS YOU CAN ASK OUR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS HAVE EXTREMELY BAD MARKS SO THAT PROVES SOMETHING.......CHANGE OUR TEACHERS ... WE ARE YOUR CUSTOMERS AND WE NEED PROPER SERVICE. THEN I THINK WE COULDNT HAVE ANY PROBLEMS EXCEPT NOW CHANGE OUR ADMIN...(THE YOUNG ONE) SHE DOESN'T HAVE ANY CUSTOMER SERVICE, EXTREMELY RUDE,
ReplyDeleteDear Mr/Miss or whatever the fk you are
Deletenow i have your ip address, thankyou for your details, you will be dealt with, and btw i am not from your shitty school
YES YES YES GET RID OF THEM. LET US AS PARENTS VOTE WHO RUNS OUR SCHOOL LET US HAVE TWO BOARD GROUPS AT LEAST ONE FOR PARENTS AND THE OTHER FOR THE MOSQUE, AT LEAST AS PARENTS WE WILL BE HEARD.
ReplyDeleteyesss the school is kharaaaaa
DeleteTo the above parent, it seems you have been quite hurt by the school, its board, staff and teachers. Can I pls.. request that you forgive them and give specific ideas as to how we can make good changes from now on. Can I pls request the admin staff to be more customer orientated.
ReplyDeleteCan the current principal please standardise and be firm with hes policies & rules. I've got 3 kids going to GVIC and there teachers seem to make rules as they go along. eg 1 teacher says that blazers as to be worn full time & the other 2 teachers say its up to the kids.
ReplyDeleteSince most of the GVIC teachers when educated & trained in Fiji, maybe the School Board, AIS, Education dept or Board of studies needs to provide extra training to these teachers. Training in how to interact with Australian students, stop rough language/tone used teachers,etc..
ReplyDeletewhy are the teachers stoping kids from going to the toilets. Dont they know what happened 2 yrs ago when a yr 1 student had to kidney undergo operation because the teacher wouldnt let them go to toilets when they wanted to. Ask the Chairman (Azmat Ali) becuase he & other members went to the students house begging them not to take any legal action. If my son or daughter ever complains of being stopped going to the toilets, then pricipal, teacher better be ready to cop some major heat.
ReplyDeletethat's so mean human cruelty this place place should be shut down hope that person dies
DeleteTheir would be no need for any blog, private hidden meetings or parent association if GVIC has a PTA.
ReplyDeletecomments by insider:
ReplyDeleteTo the best of my knowledge, I dont think a teacher has been spoken to/disciplined by the principal or school board in any matter where applicable.
pleasee change highschool uniform and change the toilets for girls and change the admin pleaseee the toilets and uniform is important
ReplyDeleteOMG so true I know
Deletelmaoao like the person would still be going on this web -e****h
DeletePublish the teachers qualification and experiences including the board. Be transparent. If the teachers need more training, provide them more. There has been a lot of hard work done by various people to bring the school where it is. Get feedback from parents and attend to each feedback as a positive critique. Critics should not be taken negatively, but take them as blessing to improve. Definately need more cleaners, proper facilities and appropriate uniform
ReplyDeleteTo Anonymous who commentted about highschool uniform, what changes would you like to see?
ReplyDeleteMy child is in highschool, and to be honest i love the uniform. Admittedly i would have liked consistency from primary to high school ie the colours, but otherwise i dont mind it at all.
what is wrong with admin staff?? they do a wonderful job!
ReplyDeleteWhat do you mean by customer service?? Im in the office paying my fees not at McDonalds ordering a meal!!
the admin staff . only one person should watch what she is talking backbiting is the worst fear allah
ReplyDeleteyou know there is definately something wrong with the teachers/school when all these people can say such bad TRUE things...
ReplyDeleteTo whoever started this bolg, i have sincere concerns but would like to know who is listening to them and how serious my concerns are taken.
ReplyDeleteCould you please identify yourselves and give yourselves the decency to place some value on this blog.
where not wasting our time its a freedom of expression and leave mr ali alone and let him do his job without any one enterfering
ReplyDeleteblog owner, pls delete rude comment on top. some people are taking this too personally. we are trying to improve gvic not hire or fire any principal, teachers or board members. thank you
ReplyDeletedont you know the saying 3 is a crowd but for these people and they think there high
ReplyDeleteuntouchable but there wrong they need help themselves brfore they help us as a school
I loike chicken and g strings
DeleteOh for the love of Allah stop bickering...I'm surprised you call yourselves muslims. This brings shame to all muslims.Arent we already criticised enough by the media and now to have our own brothers nd sisters doing it? Astagfirullah!!! Maybe we have dirty laundry but why air it in public??? Don't forget we all have to answer to Allah one day.
ReplyDeleteThe person who wrote about the price of palau. Thank you so much... I really had a good laugh and you did make your point very clear.lol
well if you don't'care you must not have any kids at the school or your a staff member or admin staff
ReplyDeleteby improving & fixing things in a muslim or society school doesnt make anyone a kafir. This is where corrupt muslim take advantage by saying "dont report any wrong doings of a muslim". Allah has shown in the past & will show again in GVIC that unjust rulers that cause pain to its ummah will endure alot of hardship.
ReplyDeleteThe current school board which is also the same guys in the mosque commitee have banned an Alim (mufti Naeem) and several bro like Bilal from praying at the mosque. Which ever ruler bans a muslim from praying at the mosque will face trouble for rest of there life.
ReplyDeletethat is a real shame, Shk Naeem was a real assest to the teaching staff, masha Allah his style allowed childern to look forward to their times with him, i know my son still misses him. One time my son bumped into him in Bonnyrigg mosque for Jummah prayers, now we know why he doesnt pray at Greevn Valley...we all have to answer to Allah
ReplyDeletethe Parents Association that was formed shouldnt have trusted the school board to form PTA, sort uniform, hijab, parking, arabic studies etc. is there anyway to reopen the Parents Association? This school board shouldnt be trusted at all.
ReplyDeleteCOMMENT BY GVIC TEACHER:
ReplyDeleteschool board should make a chart & display for parents to see what areas of school, parents & students concerns they have fixed and concerns that are currently looked at and a timeframe when they will be resolved by.
that's a joke nothing will ever be done at that school as long as these people run it
ReplyDeletedear teacher
ReplyDeleteyou have got to be kiding the school board do nothing, nothing this will be swept under the carpet like everything else the school board does in life.
This is mohammed Jumeir,im parent. can somebody give me school board phone or mobile numbr. or show me mr bean faiyaz one afternoon. I want speak and help parents and my sons. we want pta.
ReplyDeleteAt least respect the brother man..why are you calling him Mr Bean??..that is not very nice and i'm sure he wont like it so ask for his forgiveness when you do see him. He is at the school everyday picking up his children, ask the staff to point him out for you
ReplyDeleteThe respected man you call is nothing than a lowlife snake that hides beneath does shame and hides, Crawls up bottoms to stay within the board, has no fear of allah and remember what he did to mufti so, we call him MR BEAN because he acts as dumb as him but truly thinks he will win. A message to him 'FEAR ALLAH AND WHAT ALLAH CAN DO TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY AND THINK OF THE JUDGEMENT DAY MAYBE THEN YOU WILL UNDERSTAND HOW TO TREAT PEOPLE
ReplyDeleteif parents omly knew the truth of how teachers treat our kids maybe we should put a camera in each classroom and observe the teachers how well they do there job taht we pay for
ReplyDeleteplease help me understand how you can adamently claim your child is being sujected to abuse day in day out but yet continue to send your child to the school when clearly there are plenty of options, both public and independent, schools in the local area.
ReplyDeletepls delete above personal attack on mr bean (faiyaz ali)
ReplyDeletethe only reason we leave them in this so called Islamic school is that I thought as a parent our kids were better of in here not public system but the other reason we pay to get a good education
ReplyDeletebottom line is parents pay and the school deliver. if there are problems along the way then school & school board should fix it.
ReplyDeleteyes I agree but they keep on hiring the wrong teachers.
ReplyDeleteA brief message to the webmaster, I am disgusted in this website. Maybe you have tried to help us parents but in reality all you have done is publicly caused humiliation to the muslim community without realising it. I am a Lebanese parent, we suffer enough racism from the non muslims, but how dare muslims racially comment "abuse" Fijians. It is unbelievable. If in your opinion a teacher is not qualified then the teacher is not qualified, not the Fijians are not qualified. We are not forced to keep our kids here. We want them here. There is no denial that GVIC has the better education than other islamic schools in this area. I have had issues with this school and upon confronting Mr Ali it was resolved in the right way. Webmaster think twice what you are doing cause I have seen nothing good come out of this. As muslims we all sin and without repentance we will be asked at the day of judgement.
ReplyDeleteI agree with above parent that not Fijians teachers are to be blamed here. all GVIC teachers should take responsibilty. This blog has been great in the sense that it has made me and am sure other parents aware of the issues at GVIC. The parents need to collectivly discuss thre concerns with the school board head on. And to those stupid people writting rubbish about others...STOP IT!!!
ReplyDeleteI REAKON YOU ALL NEED TO GROW UP YOU MAKE ME SICK JUST DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS SCHOOL BUT ALSO THERE IS MORE FIJIAN TEACHERS THAN ANY OTHER RACE. BUT ON THE OTHER HAND IF IT WAS MIXED RACE WE CAN ONLY BLAME THE BOARD FOR THE WAY IT HAS BECOME
ReplyDeleteThis is to the "you make me sick" comment. I can only feel sorry and pittiness that you have chosen an unislamic approach to this site. I remind you that being racist will get you no where. We as muslims experience racism everyday of our lives and we have survived because our ummah have looked out for each other. You on the other hand have no respect for cultures so please stop hammering Fijjian teachers and do something more constructive in your life like read the quran. Maybe that kind of knowledge will change the hatred you have in others
ReplyDeleteOutsiders cant do much If the parents of GVIC are not motivated to help themselves and there children. Why are the parents so scared and bullied by the school board. Even the poor principal is soooooooo scared to discuss pta, uniform etc.
ReplyDeleteCan the teachers please stops giving answers to students in NAPLAN exams which starts on 12th may 2009.
ReplyDeleteGVIC needs to open up to the parents and not hide results.
ReplyDeleteI heard from the horses mouth this afternoon that the new principals appointment has been delayed. Afzal doesnt want to take the role yet due to the heat from the parents. He wants the parents issues(pta, hejab, unifirm) to cool down & go away before he makes hes entry. wondering if Faiyaz-mr bean has finally got hes way with afzal behind hes back.
ReplyDeleteIt is very sad indeed that within the Muslim community it is being discussed that a GVIC Male teacher who had applied for a senior position at the school recently had been openly telling answers to students in the NAPLAN(The National Assessment Program in Literacy and Numeracy)Test for past years.
ReplyDeleteLack of teaching strategy and skills leads to such corrupt ways of cheating with the School, Parents, Board, Government and with Almighty Allah.
Isn't this cheating and what has the board done so far in regards to this? Nothing! It is appearant that their are no ethics or code of conduct implemented at GVIC where by teachers can abide by it, and dedicate themselves towards quality teaching and produce results in a fair way and not by telling answers to students...It is also being told by many students of his class that majority of the time this male teacher is engrossed in doing assignments. Getting paid by GVIC and utilising school time for other work. It is easy to grow long beard but difficult to abide by the teachings of the Holy Quraan and the Hadith Shariff. There is no fear of Akhira that we shall be summoned before Allah Subhan wa ta'ala and will have to give an accountability.
That is not true, what proof do you have of such happening. Please stop making this a big conspiracy its not. And why are you criticizing his beard. If you have something to say, stick to the point!
ReplyDeleteI have a solution for all the problem above the board should sack all the uneducated teachers, who has no manners the teachers think no one is better then them the body language says it all we went to parent teachers night one of the high school teacher was there he told his mate to ask if this forum is teacher basing forum I beg school board to replace all the teachers please bring Australian teachers if I want Fiji Indian teachers to teach my children I would have sent them to Fiji Please please please
ReplyDeleteWHY WAS MINE TAKEN OFF I DIDNT SAY ANYTHING RUDE ONLY THE TRUE. IM SEEING THE PRINCPLE AT THE SCHOOL ABOUT THIS!!!
ReplyDeleteOUR TEAM WILL BE CLOSING THIS WEBSITE AND MOVING ITS CONTENTS TO OUR NEW WEBSITE. PLEASE STOP USING THIS WEBSITE AND POST YOUR THOUGHTS ON - www.helpgvic.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteOn 4th of February the Principal of the GVIC had pressured students to sign an undertaking without the consent of the parents as they are "Minor" and do not understand anything about documents. There were few articles in that undertaking and the students had to sign. Is this bullying tactic being employed by the school to instil fear in the students and mentally torture them? Does the principal know that this is totally UNLAWFUL practice and can be dealt by the law...The board must immediately look into this matter with urgency as the parents were not informed that their child would be pressured to sign documents...The contents are still UNKNOWN to the parents...Can these signed documents be released to the PARENTS??? Members of Board and PTA please look into this at your earliest???
ReplyDeletemy post was taken off for speaking the truth, subhan allah people dont you fear allah
ReplyDeleteteachers are abusing our kids day in and day out and most of the poor kids are too scared to talk. i would just love to see your reaction if they were your kids or any of the staff or board member kids.
all i can say is wait a bit , what goes around comes around , good luck to all , it will be better to look for another school , before the year finishes for the best to your kids
ReplyDeletei heard the board of studies has been in touch with the principal, does any one know why????
ReplyDeletewhy was the BoS in contact with the principle? maybe it is just part of procedures or should we as parents be concerned and looking for alternative?
ReplyDeletei heard a parent contacted them cause one of the teachers hit her son and the principal didnt do anything about it.
ReplyDeleteThe only alternative to resolve all problems is to address all our concerns that we have directly to the Ministry who are responsible for approval and to the Prime Ministers Office, The AIS and the Media who should be aware of what is transpiring in this community. Once a letter is sent an independent inquire will start and it will go to the core of any matter. Writing in the blog has not helped in any way. Nor talking with the Principal has helped. The Principal lacks inter personal skills and if any issue is raised he instantly gets angry - Y? Maybe over stressed and unable to cope with the community. He should be sent for counselling so a congenial atmosphere could be created in school congenial for study...The school needs leaders who possess good interpersonal skills for communication...He lacks empathy...while at the same time uses his vision to uplift the standard of the school...May be this is one of the reason why many teachers get angry - Over Stressed at work and dumping all stress on the children...
ReplyDeleteso true, we need to go beyond the principal, the principal is way to rude and aggressive,. he has absolutely no people skills at all.
ReplyDeletethese people dont fear Allah (swt) at all, they make up stories and lie through their teeth to cover their backs,
ReplyDelete"He in whom there are three matters is a hypocrite: (1) when he speaks, he speaks falsehood, (2) when he promises, he breaks it, and (3) when he is entrusted with something, he does not fulfill the trust."
Subhan Allah we put our children in their trust and they mistreat them,. Fear Allah (swt) as he is watching at all times.
Some two weeks ago year 8 students were given a Maths test and majority of the students failed. The Maths teacher had called all parents whose children failed and demanded the parents to sit and discuss with their child. This teacher who called was very commanding and rude with no people skills.
ReplyDeleteAfter discussing with the child it was discovered that the same teacher who made it a big issue by calling parents was away from the class for a week and as soon as she came back she took the test.
It seems that it is a type of tradition of the school that whenever teachers need to be out of class they can.
If majority of the class failed, the Maths teacher SHOULD bear the responsibility that is something wrong in her teaching?
Is she teaching the correct strategies in solving problems?
What other methods were used to ensure that all students understood it properly?
She must also be consistent in class in taking the Maths subject because there are HARDWORKING PARENTS who pay fees to the school and these parents wants to see improvement in their children.
I am also aware that many Maths teachers have changed and I dont know how long will this trend continue...When will our children get quality education???
i dont think these kids will ever get quality teaching, the majority of teachers there need to have a course in what you call PEOPLE SKILLS. they dont know how to deal with the students or with the parents.
ReplyDeletethis Ms Chouman has set up this new behaviour program, i think she needs some courses herself how to deal with parents and the students, she is as rude as they come, . if she thinks this school is so great, why arent her kids in it, why is she sending them to sule college.
ya rab help this school.
ReplyDeletethe indian pta president sucks. whats is he name. we should make a leb presidnet this time.
ReplyDeleteabdul haakeem is the pta mans name. me think hes wife is the boss and he wears dress. wa want a strong man to help us.
ReplyDeletewallah this school needs alot of help. they will do anything to save their necks and they forget that they will be asked for these children that they are mistreating on the day of judgement.
ReplyDeletethis principal needs to get kicked out , cause he sure doesnt know what he is doing
i think they need to get rid of the principal , he calls himself DR, yeah right, what a laugh, he doesnt know how to deal with people, he is turning this schoool into a joke, wherever you go people are bad mouthing it, the board needs to wake up and realize this is the worst thing they could have ever done, bringing him to take over is going to have dramatic results,
ReplyDeletewhat happened to the mrs rehana saga. is she still beating up her students. maybe the parents affected should take her to court like this teacher. Teacher Peter Harvey 'shouted die, die, die' as he tried to kill pupil, court told http://www.news.com.au/world/teacher-peter-harvey-shouted-die-die-die-as-he-tried-to-kill-pupil-court-told/story-e6frfkyi-1225858581606
ReplyDeletecheckout the first post about aussie teachers in our school. makes me wanna sing >>>I got sunshine on a cloudy day :P. whos the new poor soul in the admin office. she never smiles. she seems soooooooooooo scared of either principal shenaz..hahaha
ReplyDeleteplease go to www.gvicnews.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteThe School Board should act immediately and send Dr Jafar to TAFE in order to undertake a course dealing with "People Skills" which he lacks. He also shouts at his own colleagues leave aside the parents... Why?
ReplyDeleteOr let him upgrade his qualifications and add few subjects abouts People skills...
This is Australia and such rude behaviour will be brought to the attention of the media very soon...
This principle is also havin good time (flirt time) with Ms Nazma-year 6 teacher. This information is true cos everyone at gvic is also talkin about it.WAKE UP BOARD MEMBERS BEFORE DR JAFFAR MAKES NAZMA INTO A DEPUTY PRINCIPLE!!!!
ReplyDeletei agree with the comment above .nazma is famous for her affairs with male teachers in her teaching career in her past schools.she knows how to get jafars attention.she crawls upto to him and she can go to great lengths to get what she wants.
ReplyDeleteYou parents make me sick. Dont like the school simply TAKE YOUR KIDS TO A CATHOLIC SCHOOL
ReplyDeleteWhy? why not public school, greman, italian, sikh, jewish, pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee letttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee KNOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DeleteGVIC PARENT:
ReplyDeleteapparently is a ISLAMIC SCHOOL the highschool only have twice a week quran they dont even have arabic i dont know why its called a islamic school if they dont have arabic and quran more the highschool teachers are putting alot of pressure on the students mrs shah doesnt know only to put pressure on the students she always gives a negative feedback to children this school has to become better it should implicate islamic things our kids dont even HAVE SPORT what they only have 1 period of sport and the school dont even have the equipment us parents pay alot of moneyy we want the school to get better this school is pathetic !! to muchh bad things is happening in our school it doesnt look like a islamic school anymore
Parents should lodge an official complaint to the Department of Fair Trading as we parents pay fees and do not get what we expect. No sports equipments...boys are forced to learn sewing...as if they will open tailoring shops in future.
ReplyDeletewe will be closing this site. please go to www.gvicnews.blogspot.com and type your comments there.
ReplyDeleteTo the reply of the parent who thinks that boys should not learn how to sew. In public schools both boys and girls do sewing in Year 7 & 8 and if they wish to choose after Year 8 than they can. There are subjects in schools which the kids have to do whether they like it or not, just like life. What are you saying that boys should not be sewing. If they learn this skills at a early age than maybe in future it will help them.
ReplyDeleteI agree to the above comment - boys should be taught how to sew. Inshallah i hope the school will have facilities in future so girls will be taught wood work etc. It is these life skills that they carry on.
ReplyDeleteWhen refering to public schools plz bear in mind that they have it as an option!! not for 4 terms!
ReplyDeletemy son is in year 8 he didnt mind it, but if there was wood work or metal work dont u think he would have benefited alot more? God forbid my son to enjoy a day at GVIC...
On another point, i meet a deputy from another independent school who meet MR Jaffar at a principle conference..she asked if he is accually qualified for the posiiton, go figure!
Mr Ali should be Principle and Ms Chouman should be deputy
Fear Allah people when u talk about ur sisters, Ms Nazma and Ms Chouman are honourable women who go home to husbands and children, we will all have to answer to Allah so watch what u slander them with
I totally agree with the above person and if Dr Jafar is suitable as a Principal...A person who was never entrusted with any responsible positions but just was a classroom teacher and confining himself to classroom teaching and children in Malek Fahd...How can he run an school administration??? One does not require a Dr Degree but rather the vision and experience in handling. It is for that very reason he does not trust experienced teachers who had been loyal to this school and feels a threat from them therefore employing teachers from Malek Fahd who are LOYAL to him and from his Friends circle. Dr Jafar is undermining the credibility of experience and loyal teachers of GVIC who are hardworking and does not trust them...
ReplyDeleteIt was the hard work and effort of the Past Principal Mr Shamsher Ali who had brought the school to such a level with this number of students... Look back when this school was estbalished no one agreed to take up the position of a school principal. Why? Because its hard work to bring a school to such a level...and now when it is established there are many who are enjoying the fruits of other's labour... and not even acknowledging the efforts and hard work of that Principal(Mr shamsher Ali) and Teachers who have brought the school and placed in the care of the current Principal... who now boasts the the number of the school has increased....
This fellow seems to be a sour puss. Dr Jafar you are doing a very good job. I as a parent have been talking to a lot of parents and they are all very happy with the way the schools run now. Do not listen to these few idiots who had other silly ideas to run the school. They were thinking that they will have a very easy life under mr ali. fellas work hard and stop complaining.
ReplyDelete1. Pay off correct behavior, not misbehavior. Reinforce polite requests, not whining, teasing and tantrums. Reinforce calm discussions, not arguments and power struggles.
ReplyDelete2. Think before you talk. Say what you mean. Mean what you say. Reward yourself for being consistent.
3. Expect good behavior from your children. Children must know what you expect from them and what they can expect from you. When children can predict how you will behave in reaction to them, they will make better behavioral choices themselves.
4. Children believe what you tell them. Coach your children on ways to behave appropriately. Teach your children that effort is essential. Use plenty of encouragement. When you encourage your children, they will see that you have faith and confidence in them, and will have it in themselves.
5. Once you recognize a misbehavior pattern, establish a plan. Tell them the rules in advance and be specific and reasonable. Using charts or contracts, spotlight success and provide support and encouragement.
6. Use punishments that teach decision-making and accountability. Children survive reasonable punishments, such as restriction and time-outs. Do not punish when you are angry.
7. Begin teaching responsibility and decision-making when your children are young. This will prepare them for the real world. Remember, children need limits, structure, ground rules and consistency. Children will see these qualities as an expression of your love and concern.
8. Focus on your children's positive qualities but love them regardless of their behavior.
9. Teach your children to seek self-reward—to feel good about doing the right thing.
10. Provide a healthy and pleasant family climate. Emphasize each other's strengths and accept one another's weaknesses.
I have a great concern about a High school teacher named Mr. Al Faarz.Hes hand writing is un-readable, he doesnt explain things to Male students but he takes his time and explains to Female students, he also doesnt speak politely to the Male students but speaks kindly to the Female Students. A Proffessional teacher will and should treat there students equally. And PLEASE Mr. Al-Faarz do something about your personnal hygeine.
ReplyDeleteI agree with the above comment,I have heard alot of complaints about Mr- Alfaarz and how he favours girls more than boys. I ask the principal to take some action before i take this matter further. Ive also heard that he isnt a good teacher, and look how he dresses!! Sure its an islamic school but that is no excuse to wear proper clothes.
ReplyDeleteMr alfaaz is a very good teacher who has years of experience teaching maths and physics to senior classes. What do you do for living.
ReplyDeleteThey are probably on the dole with 6 kids and eating Mr Alfaarz's tax money!!!!
ReplyDeletejust want to let Mr Al-faarz know that deodorants are on special.
ReplyDelete.
Fiji teachers should learn how to speak to parents because we pay fees for our kids and that is how they are paid. So learn some manners and understand that every child is not a genious. Have some self respect.
ReplyDeleteyes and i do agree that Mr Ali has sweat his life out to GVIC and Mr Jaffar is a puppet. He is not a good principal because he does not talk to parents, when their child has an issue. What kind of principal is he? Principals are suppose to be very friendly to its children and their staff and parents as well, so we all can feel secured. The best person for this job was Mr S Ali and no where is Jaffar near him.
there is new blog on Imam nadvi (sydneyimam)
ReplyDeleteI think we should all decide on a day and get parents to keep there kids at home and all the parents come into the school and demand to be heard
ReplyDeleteThat school gives too many assignments during Ramadan!! Dont the teachers know that our children are also busy focusing on the Here after. My son cannot complete 5 Assignments during Ramadan while going Taraweeh, reading Quran Praying 5 Times a day and very tired. GREEN VALLEY ISLAMIC COLLEGE GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER!!
ReplyDeletegvic is shit
ReplyDeletegvic suk
ReplyDeletedr jafar barks like a german sheperd asian mother fuker :)
ReplyDeleteBe nice
ReplyDeleteI am a muslim parent with a young child and I have been considering sending my son to GVIC! After reading all the blogs, I have my doubts! Is there anything positive about this school, the management, the teaching structure, and perhaps most importantly, the level and quality of Islamic studies in any given week?! Is this school only a Muslim school by name, or by values and principes too....
ReplyDeleteI hate to say this but as a concerned parent I have to. What I have read so far can only come from a munafiq or an infidel. Muslims don't say or talk like this about another Muslim. most of the comments seem to come from kids. shame on those parents who have failed to teach their kids the basics of Islam.
ReplyDeleteThe Quran says, "Lo, the noblest of you, in the sight of God, is (the one) best in conduct. Lo, God is knower, Aware" (49:13)
"O you who believe! avoid most of suspicion (against others), for surely suspicion in some cases is sin; and do not spy (into other people's affairs), nor let some of you backbite others." (49:12)
"The believers are brethren, so make peace between your brethren . . . Do not find fault with your own people, nor call one another by (bad) nicknames." (49:10-12)
"Do not hate one another and do not be jealous of one another and do not boycott one another, and be servants of Allah, as brothers; and it is not lawful for a Muslim to sever his relations with his brother for more than three days." (Holy Prophet in Bukhari.)
"None of you has faith until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself." (Holy Prophet in Bukhari.)
Racism has no place in society and Islam forbids this.
As far as I can see the biggest sinner is the one responsible for this blog. May Allah Subhan Wa Taala give you toufiq and you follow the righteous path Ameen.
Brothers if you not happy about anything, there are proper ways of solving them rather than abusing anyone. I am sure there are so many schools to choose from if one is not happy. Remember we are answerable to no one but Allah Subhan Wa Taala and on the judgement day we have to answer for all our actions.
Forgive me brothers if I have said anything wrong and may Allah (SWT) show us the right path and forgive our sins. Wassalam
fiji princess* dr jafar barks like a dog and treats the gvic staff, studnets and parents like animals. he has never been a principal or assistant principal before coming to gvic. the school board fucked up big time. school board just wanted a fiji man to be principal and dr jafar was the only clown they could find. listen to how dr jafar speaks. hes english is worse than my year 10 son. bad principal means unhappy staff and unsuccessful students.

DeleteNSW and Federal Government have frozen funding to these Islamic schools in Sydney after concerns about financial irregularities;Al-Noori Islamic Primary School in Greenacre,Malek Fahd College in Greenacre and The Australian Islamic College of Sydney in Mount Druitt . Green Valley Islamic College 'GVIC' financial practice is the same as these mentioned 3 schools. Here are some of the reasons why the NSW and Federal Government should crackdown on gvic and mlnsw.
ReplyDeleteGVIC land is owned by the not-for-profit Muslim League of NSW Inc 'mlnsw'. The entire gvic college board, are also administrators of the mlnsw. The mlnsw primary role is to manage the Green Valley Islamic Centre, which holds a mosque on the same site as the school.
GVIC school pays rent to mlnsw and has also advanced money to mlsnw in the past for the purchase of other properites and land. Mr Shareek Mohammed a Mortgage Broker 0403229171 Shareek.Mohammed@aussie.com.au of Aussie Loans and Mr Faiyaz Ali 'a failed business man'0424157786 alif0786@hotmail.com have been the key people in the financial transactions of the gvic and mlnsw for the past 11 years. Both these individuals have been receiving payments either directly or indirectly in the form of bank loan commissions and 'kick backs' from contractors working
at gvic and mlnsw.
individuals on the gvic college board are and having been doing business dealings as such school security, handyman and maintenance with gvic school.
The depth of 'conflict of interest' at gvic widens as, not only the entire gvic college board are administrators of the mlnsw but the gvic college board spouses are also teachers at the gvic school.
Islamic religious teachers on gvic payroll have been threatened by the gvic college board and the principal to work at the mosque. Mr Ziyad Ali's a religious teacher employment at gvic was terminated because he refused to work at the mosque.
gvic has purchased stationery and computers-laptops, printer, including a computer server for the mlnsw staff and office.
a member of mlnsw and gvic is Mr Azaad Khan. ICAC Independent Commission Against Corruption stated that Mr Azaad Khan was involved in the 2009 City Rail procurement fraud together with hes son Wasim Khan.
These group of people are not doing the right thing with taxpayers' money and should kicked out of the mlnsw and gvic. The members of mlnsw need to wakeup before the NSW and Federal Government freezes funding to gvic. Why should the students suffer at the expense of these corrupted and greedy people.
Fijian and Lebanese teachers need to stop treating students like objects. I know that students can sometimes be a pain as I have 3 boys. Teachers have to come up with plans that work well with students. Current text book teaching just doesnt cut it.

Enough is enough
I'm covering my ears like a kid
When your words mean nothing, I go la la la

GVIC is a good school, compared to what it was before it has thrived itself to greatness although has some faults, for example the teachers that have been wrongly assigned by the school board. Furthermore superiors are being assigned by the school board just because of their racial background (self explanatory). Lastly, when the superiors are in a position that they assume that they have to interrogate students for certain faults committed by a singular entity, they tend to keep the whole high school away from their last period and from their 45 minute sports to "find out" who the culprit is, also they use methods such as bribery ("we will help your family financially if you tell us who it is") blackmail etc.

The domestic cat (Felis catus or Felis silvestris catus) is a small, usually furry, domesticated, and carnivorous mammal. It is often called the housecat when kept as an indoor pet, or simply the cat when there is no need to distinguish it from other felids and felines. Cats are often valued by humans for companionship and their ability to hunt vermin and household pests.
Cats are similar in anatomy to the other felids, with strong, flexible bodies, quick reflexes, sharp retractable claws, and teeth adapted to killing small prey. Cat senses fit a crepuscular and predatory ecological niche. Cats can hear sounds too faint or too high in frequency for human ears, such as those made by mice and other small game. They can see in near darkness. Like most other mammals, cats have poorer color vision and a better sense of smell than humans.
Despite being solitary hunters, cats are a social species, and cat communication includes the use of a variety of vocalizations (meowing, purring, trilling, hissing, growling and grunting) as well as cat pheromones and types of cat-specific body language.
Cats have a rapid breeding rate. Under controlled breeding, they can be bred and shown as registered pedigree pets, a hobby known as cat fancy. Failure to control the breeding of pet cats by spaying and neutering, and the abandonment of former household pets, has resulted in large numbers of feral cats worldwide, requiring population control.[8]
Since cats were cult animals in ancient Egypt, they were commonly believed to have been domesticated there,[9] but there may have been instances of domestication as early as the Neolithic.
A genetic study in 2007 revealed that domestic cats are descended from African wildcats (Felis silvestris lybica) c. 8000 BCE, in the Middle East. According to Scientific American, cats are the most popular pet in the world, and are now found almost every place where people live.
Do you know exactly where sperm and eggs come from? Or how they find each other and combine to create a new life? Read on to discover the fascinating biological facts behind getting pregnant.
ReplyDeleteInside the woman's body: how an egg is hatched
For women, the possibility of pregnancy begins in the ovaries. These are the two small, oval organs attached to either side of your uterus (womb). The ovaries are packed with eggs, which are made before you are even born. Every baby girl is born with 1 to 2 million eggs in her ovaries. Many eggs begin dying off almost immediately and the rest steadily decrease in number as you get older. You'll probably release about 400 eggs during your fertile years, between your first period and the menopause. In countries such as the UK, the average age of menopause is about 52.
During each menstrual cycle, sometime after your period, one to three eggs start to reach maturity in one of your ovaries. The ripest egg is then released, a process known as ovulation. The egg is quickly sucked up by the tulip-shaped opening of the nearest fallopian tube. There are two fallopian tubes, each about 10cm in length, which lead from the ovaries to the uterus.
Ovulation is usually about 12 to 14 days before your next period. The exact time of ovulation depends on the length of your cycle. Several different hormones work together to control the length of your cycle, when your eggs ripen and the timing of ovulation. You can read more about these hormones in our article on the menstrual cycle.
The average egg lives for up to 24 hours after release. It needs to be fertilised within this time by a sperm for a baby to be conceived. If your egg meets up with a healthy sperm on its way to the uterus, the process of creating a new life begins. If not, the egg ends its journey at the uterus and disintegrates.
If you have not conceived, the ovary stops making oestrogen and progesterone. These are the two hormones that would help maintain a pregnancy. When the levels of these hormones drop, the thickened lining of your uterus is shed during your period. The remains of the unfertilised egg are shed at the same time.
Inside the man's body: how sperm are made
Women's bodies mature a single egg each month. Men's bodies, however, are almost constantly at work, producing millions of microscopic sperm. The sole purpose of each sperm is to swim towards and penetrate an egg.
From start to finish it takes two to three months to create a new sperm cell. The average sperm lives only a few weeks in a man's body, and at least 40 million are set free with each ejaculation. It means that men have to make sperm on a regular basis throughout their adult lives.
The potato is a starchy, tuberous crop from the perennial Solanum tuberosum of the Nightshade family. The word may refer to the plant itself as well as the edible tuber. In the region of the Andes, there are some other closely related cultivated potato species. Potatoes were introduced outside the Andes region four centuries ago, and have become an integral part of much of the world's cuisine. It is the world's fourth-largest food crop, following rice, wheat and maize.[1] Long-term storage of potatoes requires specialised care in cold warehouses.[2]
ReplyDeleteWild potato species occur throughout the Americas, from the United States to southern Chile.[3] The potato was originally believed to have been domesticated independently in multiple locations,[4] but later genetic testing of the wide variety of cultivars and wild species proved a single origin for potatoes in the area of present-day southern Peru and extreme northwestern Bolivia (from a species in the Solanum brevicaule complex), where they were domesticated 7,000–10,000 years ago.[5][6][7] Following centuries of selective breeding, there are now over a thousand different types of potatoes.[6] Of these subspecies, a variety that at one point grew in the Chiloé Archipelago (the potato's south-central Chilean sub-center of origin) left its germplasm on over 99% of the cultivated potatoes worldwide.[8][9]
The annual diet of an average global citizen in the first decade of the 21st century included about 33 kg (73 lb) of potato.[1] However, the local importance of potato is extremely variable and rapidly changing. It remains an essential crop in Europe (especially eastern and central Europe), where per capita production is still the highest in the world, but the most rapid expansion over the past few decades has occurred in southern and eastern Asia. China is now the world's largest potato-producing country, and nearly a third of the world's potatoes are harvested in China and India
The same hormones that control ovulation in women stimulate the release of testosterone in men. Testosterone is the hormone responsible for producing sperm. Sperm production starts in the testicles, the two glands contained in the scrotal sac beneath the penis. The testicles hang outside the body because they are sensitive to temperature. To produce healthy sperm efficiently they have to stay at a balmy 34 degrees C. This is about four degrees cooler than normal body temperature. Once the sperm is created, it's stored in each testicle in the epididymis, a 6-metre long coiled tube. Just before ejaculation the sperm is scooped up and mixed with semen.
ReplyDeleteDespite the millions of sperm that are produced and released in each ejaculation, only one can fertilise each egg. The gender of your baby depends on which type of sperm burrows into the egg first. Sperm with a Y chromosome will make a boy baby, and sperm with an X chromosome will make a girl. There are plenty of myths about how to conceive a boy or girl. Some are backed by a bit of scientific evidence, but on the whole, a child's sex is determined randomly.
What happens while you're having sex
In addition to all the fun, your bodies are building up tension that you hope will end in orgasm. Having an orgasm also has an important biological function. In men, orgasm propels sperm-rich semen into the vagina and up towards the cervix at roughly 10 miles per hour. The force of ejaculation gives the sperm a good head start on their way to the egg. A woman doesn't need to orgasm for conception to happen. Gentle uterine contractions can help the sperm along, but these happen without you having an orgasm.
Many couples wonder if a particular sex position is best for conceiving. No one knows for sure. The most important thing about sex is that you're both having a good time and you're doing it often enough. For you to conceive, live sperm needs to be in your reproductive tract during ovulation.
Not all women ovulate during the middle of their cycle or at the same time in their cycle every month. To improve your chances of conception, aim to make love every other day or so throughout your cycle.
While you relax, the sperm's job is just beginning
At this point you can't do much except cross your fingers and hope that you conceive. While you and your partner enjoy a relaxing post-sex cuddle, a lot is going on inside your body. Those millions of sperm have begun their quest to find your egg, and it's not an easy journey. The first obstacle may be your cervical mucus, which can seem like an impenetrable net on your non-fertile days. When you're most fertile, however, it miraculously loosens up so the strongest swimmers can get through.
The sperm that survive still have a long road ahead. In all they need to travel about 18cm from the cervix through the uterus to the fallopian tubes. When you consider that they travel at a rate of roughly 2.5cm every 15 minutes, that's quite a trip. The fastest swimmers may find the egg in as little as 45 minutes. It can take the slowest up to 12 hours. If the sperm don't find an egg in the fallopian tubes at the time of intercourse, they can survive inside you for up to seven days. This means that if you ovulate within this time window you could still conceive.
ReplyDeleteThe mortality rate for sperm is very high and only a few dozen ever make it to the egg. The rest get trapped, lost (perhaps heading up the wrong fallopian tube) or die along the way. For the lucky few that get near the egg, the race isn't over. Each one has to work frantically to penetrate the egg's outer shell and get inside before the others. The egg needs to be fertilised within 24 hours of its release. When the hardiest sperm of the bunch makes it through, the egg changes instantaneously to prevent any others getting in. It's like a protective shield that clamps down over the egg at the exact moment the first sperm is safely inside.
Now a new life is born ...
During fertilisation, the genetic material in the sperm and egg combine to create a new cell that will rapidly start dividing. This bundle of new cells is known as the blastocyst. It continues travelling down the fallopian tube towards the uterus, a journey which can take another three days or so.
You are not actually pregnant until the blastocyst has attached itself to the wall of your uterus, where it will develop into an embryo and placenta. Occasionally, the blastocyst will implant somewhere other than the uterus (usually in the fallopian tube). This is called an ectopic pregnancy, which is a medical emergency. The pregnancy will not survive outside the uterus and needs to be completely removed, to avoid damage to the fallopian tube.
It will be a couple of weeks until you miss a period and suspect that you're going to have a baby. Once you have missed your period or noticed one of the other signs of pregnancy, a home pregnancy test will confirm it. If you've got a little one on the way, congratulations, and welcome to the start of another incredible journey.

Black is the color of coal, ebony, and of outer space. It is the darkest color, the result of the absence of or complete absorption of light. It is the opposite of white and often represents darkness in contrast with light.[1]
ReplyDeleteBlack was one of the first colors used by artists in neolithic cave paintings. In the Roman Empire, it became the color of mourning, and over the centuries it was frequently associated with death, evil, witches and magic. In the 14th century, it began to be worn by royalty, the clergy, judges and government officials in much of Europe. It became the color worn by English romantic poets, businessmen and statesmen in the 19th century, and a high fashion color in the 20th century.
In the Western World today, it is the color most commonly associated with mourning, the end, secrets, magic, power, violence, evil, and elegance

fuck
ReplyDeletefuck [fuhk] Show IPA Vulgar.
Usage note
For many people, the word fuck is extremely vulgar, considered improper and taboo in all of its senses. Yet various forms of the word, primarily in its nonliteral, slang senses, have increasingly crept into casual use, not only as spontaneous expletives of shock, horror, or anger, but also as verbal tics and common intensifiers, mere indices of annoyance or impatience or even pleasant surprise: Where are my fucking keys? What the fuck is taking so long? This is fucking awesome! Nevertheless, the term is best avoided altogether in “polite company.” The mass broadcast media have actually been forced by the threat of punitive fines to block audiences from hearing it, either by banning its use entirely or by bleeping all or part of the sound—if only by blocking out nothing more than the vowel sound in the middle.
Although its first known occurrence in writing dates from the late 1400s (disguised in a cipher at that), the word fuck was undoubtedly heard long before that, and it remains primarily a creature of the spoken language. Well into the 20th century, it was generally regarded as “unprintable,” and forms like f*** or f--k or some spelling distortion like frack or frig or fork or fug were typically substituted for it in writing. In speech, creative euphemisms abound, some born with each new generation. We now have eff and effing as well as f-word and f-bomb, all of which allow us to discuss the term without resorting to its actual use.

Palau (Listeni/pəˈlaʊ/, sometimes spelled Belau or Pelew), officially the Republic of Palau (Palauan: Beluu er a Belau),[4] is an island country located in the western Pacific Ocean. It is geographically part of the larger island group of Micronesia. The country's population of around 21,000 is spread across 250 islands forming the western chain of the Caroline Islands. The most populous island is Koror. The islands share maritime boundaries with Indonesia, Philippines and the Federated States of Micronesia. The capital Ngerulmud is located in Melekeok State on the nearby island of Babeldaob.
ReplyDeleteThe country was originally settled around 3,000 years ago by migrants from the Philippines and sustained a Negrito population until around 900 years ago. The islands were first visited by Europeans in the 18th century, and were made part of the Spanish East Indies in 1885. Following Spain's defeat in the Spanish–American War in 1898, the islands were sold to Imperial Germany in 1899 under the terms of the German–Spanish Treaty, where they were administered as part of German New Guinea. The Imperial Japanese Navy conquered Palau during World War I, and the islands were later made a part of the Japanese-ruled South Pacific Mandate by the League of Nations. During World War II, skirmishes, including the major Battle of Peleliu, were fought between American and Japanese troops as part of the Mariana and Palau Islands campaign. Along with other Pacific Islands, Palau was made a part of the United States-governed Trust Territory of the Pacific Islands in 1947. Having voted against joining the Federated States of Micronesia in 1979, the islands gained full sovereignty in 1994 under a Compact of Free Association with the United States.
Politically, Palau is a presidential republic in free association with the United States, which provides defense, funding, and access to social services. Legislative power is concentrated in the bicameral Palau National Congress. Palau's economy is based mainly on tourism, subsistence agriculture and fishing, with a significant portion of Gross National Product (GNP) derived from foreign aid. The country uses the United States dollar as its currency. The islands' culture mixes Japanese, Micronesian and Melanesian elements. The majority of citizens are of mixed Micronesian, Melanesian, and Austronesian descent, with significant groups descended from Japanese and Filipino settlers. The country's two official languages are Palauan (member of the wider Sunda–Sulawesi language group) and English, with Japanese, Sonsorolese, and Tobian recognised as regional languages.

ReplyDeletethis school is filled with pedos and pervs
ReplyDeletethat's not nice at all :((.....
ReplyDeleteThis school needs to get rid of uneducated teachers - (and teachers who do not comply with the ethos of the school and league) who have been hired under the boards and the so called Shura councils directions. the principals always seem to think the school is their own property. All the old league members that are currently there needs to go - they all are there for their own benefit and not for the interest of the community nor the kids.
ReplyDelete-Once inside.
For the above students who have used offensive language above, we know who you are. Sadly your parents don't know better and we are left to raise you as our own kids.
ReplyDeleteThis school is fucking racist, always hating on arabs

ReplyDeletethis school is very un organised because my daughter is in year 7 and when she had to present her assignments suddenly they decided lets mix the girls and the boys class together and they changed ALL my daughters teachers which is very unorganised and my daughter was crying to me for 2 weeks and when I call the school the office ladies don't even help they say that they would call you the next day at 8:30 or till 3:50 they haven't called me since so I called up again and they answered back saying dr jafar will not let your daughter change classes and my daughter is constantly getting disterbed by un behaved boys and yeachers that don't understand her this school is rubbish plus why cant our children bring ipads to school instead of heavy book are you serious this is why unity grammer is better than gvic and change some of the indian teachers they don't understand anything to be honest WE PAY FOR THE TEACHERS and at least we get to choose them and plus can you organise a parent group which help decide things
GET ORGANISED
this is so true
ReplyDeletethis school is so shit and bullshit
ReplyDeleteSUCKED IN DR.JAFAR!THIS DAY MARKS THE DAY U WERE ON NEWS COZ U MESSED WITH THE SCHOOLS FINANCES!
ReplyDeleteSo angry with Jafar, who does he think he is. he really needs to open is eyes because as a school principle he should be more of an example and shouldn't be stealing the school funds for your own personal use. Maybe he should should stop being so damn selfish and think about the kids education because walking around and barking at students wont get him anywhere, thinking so highly of himself. GET THE GVIC BETTER TEACHERS WHO ACTUALLY KNOW WHAT THERE DOING AND NOT JUST ANYONE JAFAR!!
