Is each school board members skill/strenght utilised to its full potential. ie. Are issues like frozen funds, court cases, PTA, uniform/hijab, arabic subject etc allocated to 1 or few memebers to work on. Or is it that a few handful members are doing all the hard yards ?
ReplyDeleteDoes the school board a date when the PTA will be established ?
ReplyDeletecan the webmaster pls.. delete the above personal attack. Fear Allah and stop accussing you muslim bro/sis. People stop assuming that it is Afzal,Mainaz, Aiyaz Ali, Aiyaz shah, School board etc.
ReplyDeletewhen will their be a meeting to review the uniform/hijab ?
ReplyDeleteDear school board & principal
ReplyDeleteYOU NEED TO STOP THIS STRAIGHT AWAY:
Teachers writing letters to parents concerning sudents are delivered to office for posting. Their has been times when that particular matter has become public knowledge. Can you please tighten your internal process where no one else gets to read the letter apart from the parent.
Dear school board. Is it possible that you people are having difficulties reaching consensus in your meetings about issue because some of the members in the board are from day one and are are not willing to change their opinions about certain agendas & are inflexible.
ReplyDeletewebmaster, pls.. delete personal attacks asap as above. some parents would like to have adult conversation, not childish ones about Faiyaz or someone else.
ReplyDeleteFood for thought school board-why are the majority of the teachers in the school graduates from fiji. I know that GVIC had over 40 applicants that were Australian graduates for this years vacany but 95% of the roles was filled by fijian graduates .
ReplyDeleteAs a concerned Parent and to have most of the questions answered above, and as like many NGO's and public benevolent organistaions, can the deatils of qualification of each Board/Committee member and teachers be published in the Annual Report.
ReplyDeletesometimes people enter the school bulidings and approach teachers or students directly without reporting to the office.could the school board please provide more protection for everyones safety.i dont want to see my child being approached by anyone while he is at school.whats the point of keeping a security.
ReplyDeleteA question *** WHEN ARE ALL YOU PEOPLE CALLED ""THE SCHOOL BOARD" going to leave. Because we are disguisted with your unprofessionism in this school, go learn from UNITY GRAMMER how they manage their school, not like you bunch and learn
ReplyDeleteplease write in ENGLISH and don't be racist, because that is what you are shown to all of us
ReplyDeletethank you brother from another brother
ReplyDeleteIf this board knows that this is there last term in office, WHY DON'T YOU GROW UP - ALL- AND LEAVE THE PRINCIPAL ALONE, JUST BECAUSE YOU ALL WILL THE OUT DOESNT MEAN HE SHOULD, INSHALLAH HE WILL STAY AND HE HAPPY AND CELEBRATE THE 1ST YEAR 12 GRADUATION WITH THEM AND ONLY HIM, MAY ALLAH PROTECT HIM FROM ALL BAD AND REMEMBER THAT GOD IS WATCHING....WHAT WILL YOU TELL GOD OF THE DAY OF JUDGEMENT ...HA. LET HIM DO HIS WORK PROUDLY AND WITH NO DISBURBANCE....PLEASE.....YOU ARE ALL INTERFERRING WITH OUR CHILDRENS EDUCATION..STOP IT AT ONCE.............
ReplyDeleteI got a copy of the GVIC constitution by requesting it from the email address [badar98@gmail.com] mentioned above. Few things which I have picked up by having a quick browse of it is:
ReplyDelete1. A)objective of GVIC, page 4;g;xxi - to develop ensure that there is provision for good communication between staff, parents, studten & the community.*WELL THIS IS NOT CLEARLY HAPPENING*
B)page 4;g;xxiv - to develop a concern for the problems of the communcity & the enviroment & to be invloved in seeking solutions * WITH 90% OF THE PARENTS CRYING FOR HELP,SCHOOL BOARD IS NOT CONCERNED.
OH MY GOD. as another br or sis wrote in other post.does the GVIC constitution really say that on page 17 section 31 that-
ReplyDeletea) The board shall as soon as practicable appoint up to 13 persons from among the parents/teachers of the college to form the PTA.
b)The persons who are appointed on the PTA will elect among themselves chairman & secretary.
c) the PTA shall assist the board to make the college etc etc etc...there are items a-f under PTA.
ps-the last board and now this school board has been lying and having the parents "on" for the past 3 years. I dont trust this folks anymore.
PARENTS HAVE LOT OF POWERS, READ THE BELOW ARTICLES-
ReplyDelete- Parents may be able to sue private schools(The Association of Independent Schools received more than 20 complaints a month )

so in the end what happens I will tell u what happens nothing as ususal same crap like always 3 cheers for getting nothing done
ReplyDeleteA concern citzen I have nothing to do with school, but unfortunatley I tumble against this and realized how disguisting is it to be in a school like this, its even unbelieveable that noday has contacted the Department of Education or even Julia Gilard (Minister of Education) this is a serious matter and I advise parents this blog does not seem to be a joke, so please take it seriously, as you all have one big problem.
ReplyDeletebut they will just deney anything thats been said or done how do we know that the DOE WILL
ReplyDeleteHELP US
THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION WILL HELP US IF US PARENTS STICK TOGETHER AND FIGHT THESE PEOPLE AS WE OWN THE SCHOOL NOT THEM WITHOUT US THERE IS NO SCHOOL
ReplyDeleteedit: meant to read 'bitter few'
ReplyDeleteIt is quite clear that the school board is under fire from few groups. 1)a group of people that have caught them "moving" money. 2) parents of GVIC. 3) students. 4) several teachers. Allah is hammering them because they have stopped shk Naeem, br bilal and others from prayering at the masjid. Why dont the school board start talking to the parents.
ReplyDeleteMr school board - pls.. answer one question darling. what is preventing you from forming a PTA?
ReplyDeletethe above comments sounds like the man from iqra college. kailaaaa
ReplyDeleteCOMMENT BY GVIC TEACHER:
ReplyDeletemr Ali our current principal is not taking our concerns to the school board meetings. He deletes most concerns & flakes the rest before presenting it to the school board.
mr ali is a good principal leave him alone by yr7 student
ReplyDeletehow do you know that mr ali does that what if the school board sweps it under the carpet trying to show everyone that he's nothing and we a new principal tell us how your question is going to be answered now high school teacher.
ReplyDeleteyou as a teacher will help us or are you trying to take over as new principal or depty own up
ReplyDeletewho is the man from Iqra grammer.
ReplyDeleteThis is mohammed Jumeir,im parent. can somebody give me school board phone or mobile numbr. or show me mr bean faiyaz one afternoon. I want speak and help parents and my sons. we want pta.
ReplyDeleteI reckon that the person that started this is a good person. but it's not there fault that parents can for once speak the truth
ReplyDeleteto the person above if you gave every parent this blog site i will asure you will get alot of parents writing so let the admin staff write it in the news letter and you will get a feedback.
ReplyDeleteWHO ARE YOU AND WHAT IS YOUR POSSESION IN THE BOARD.
ReplyDeleteonly a parent wallah
ReplyDeletetruly enough is enough of this blog, I thought from the start this will help us understand the issues going on, but really brothers and sisters is this what is happening nothing will change and as an islamic people I don't want to hurt our school because this belongs to our children so all I ask from the board is to have guts and courage to talk to us and maybe this blog will go away, because as you could see it will never stop and the proper issues are going everywhere except the right direction.... I think if they don't listen to us the we should go on PARENT STIKE
ReplyDeletethen the teacher will be happy and we will grt know where.what do we achive,we pay for these teachers to teach our kids
ReplyDeleteMr School Board, have you guys attempted to fix any concerns yet? pls.. be honest. I havent seen any letters to parents or changes in the school yet. pls.. get the ball rolling.
ReplyDeleteQuestion to school board, I am quite concerned about the school crossing that has not been placed to this date. Could you please explain why the council has not provided our school with this crossing, and if they have refused why don't you allow the parents help protest with you. I am seriously concerned.
ReplyDeleteStatement to the parents concerns in this blog. This blog I have realised is a godd asset to parents as long as there is no PTA organised, however I believe there are many parents are being childish about this blog and using it to spread racism, threats and offensive language. Be civilised about this site and place your concerns modestly as Muslims. stop attacking our school overall we have a choice where to keep our kids and to me GVIC is good enough for me. Like me I have a genuine concern and have approached this in a humane mature way. There is no need to be rude or oppress human being. I always tell my kids treat people the way you want people to treat you. I am Leb and ashamed of all the racial attacks from my kind. Stop separating and start uniting as 1.
As this site hasnt been site by the board or even with their knowledge, i doubt they will answer your concerns.
ReplyDeleteForgive if im wrong board...but from my knowledge
the crossing is in stafe 2 or 3.
It has been approved but there are processes and protocols to be followed. I for one was an advocate for the crossing until i was aware that the crossing itself will take up 30 odd meteres, looking at all the 'no stopping' signs and driveways, that doesnt allow much room for parents to park, if anything it will add to the traffic congestion. Now im not so sure how i feel towards the crossing.
ANd well said about all the other stuff you mentioned...our ummah has sadly become racist to each other
aove parent has well said that this blog is a good asset to all gvic parents. Please use it properly and insha Allah you will see the results of your effort. Remmeber that Pen has always been more power & effective then voilence etc.
ReplyDeletecan the school board pls.. tell me if pta, uniforms, heejab, arabic studies etc was discussed at the board meeting yesterday. to those who dont know the school board has meetings 1st weekend on each month
ReplyDeleteif nothing is going to work out in our schooll then god help the board becaus ethis is going to the department of education
ReplyDeleteI heard from the horses mouth this afternoon that the new principals appointment has been delayed. Afzal doesnt want to take the role yet due to the heat from the parents. He wants the parents issues(pta, hejab, unifirm) to cool down & go away before he makes hes entry. wondering if Faiyaz-mr bean has finally got hes way with afzal behind hes back.
ReplyDeleteIt seems like this blog is slowing down, and I wonder why? Oh yes, its because Afzal has created new friends (SNITCHES) eg; Nisar - once against him and he let the rabbit out of the hat - he will understand what that means, but of course he wants his friendship to become the NEW VICE PRINCIPAL - what a turn off!!!!. Next Anita - still hides behind a mask but I know for sure that shes crawling hard god knows what shes up to. So basically everybody crawls to Afzal and you will become a winner - with him but surely not with ALLAH...........NOW WHOS THE WINNER
ReplyDeletethis so called school can rot in hell
ReplyDeleteCONGRATULATION '''MALAK FAHAD''' MAY GREEN VALLEY ISLAMIC COLLEGE LOSE ALL THEIR STUDENTS AND GO THEIR, BECAUSE GVIC DONT KNOW HOW TO RUN A SCHOOL AT ALL, AND I PRAY TO GOD WITH ALL MY HEART THAT AS THE SCHOOL (GVIC) STARTED WITH 15 ODD STUDENTS, THEY ARE LEFT WITH THAT MUCH ONLY AS THATS ALL THEY ARE CAPABLE OF TEACHING
ReplyDeleteinshallah ya rab
Deleteyes ive got 2 in the school and from the time my first started i didnt want to send him to this school my partner did,in 2003 the school said we r going to improve the school and build and fix it up for the kids. NOW its 2009 and still nothing is done, i have never seen a school that is so slow and dont can to have done this all before i think the school is unhealthy for the kids and nothing for them to do in the play groun. im kids have seen there cousins school and they beg me to send them there they get exited to look around and see and the ground they have grass, play area, shade, seats outside and how much room. i realy hate the school and hate it when i have to pick up the kids i dont think the school should be allow to stay like this owww yes ur fixing but too slow, please u dont have a proper sick bay or a princibles office that parents can see, teachers dont even know how to speak english right, pricible mr ali u talk to him and says nothing, uniform thats so ugly dont even stand out ive see the austra its nice and neat, in summer uniform too hot my daughter gets itchy skin, omg so much to say but u know something i bet nothing will be dont till my kids finish school high school no way they r staying not right education and crossing still not on the road and u have an approval ive contacted them and u have it. or r u waiting till someone gets hit by a fast car and get kill , crossing will slow down cars and signs.
ReplyDeleteHOPE U GUYS DO INPROVE MY KIDS HATE THE SCHOOL AND HATE GOING EVERY MORNING BUT DAD ?
as we can see very clearly from this blog- many parents are NOT HAPPY! plz make this year a new start and fear allah and do the right thing for our childrens education. i hope to see many changes this year. if not then you will lose more and more students to unity grammer. just speaking the truth.
ReplyDeleteOUR TEAM WILL BE CLOSING THIS WEBSITE AND MOVING ITS CONTENTS TO OUR NEW WEBSITE. PLEASE STOP USING THIS WEBSITE AND POST YOUR THOUGHTS ON - www.helpgvic.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteits so sad to hear that the majority of parents and of course children just arent happy, my kids hate going to school, especially my son, these teachers dont know how to teach at all, i guess they need to see what is wrong to fix the problem, but they dont really care anyway, i think that once malek fahd is open, they will lose the majority of their students,
ReplyDeleteus parents want to send our kids to school and see them come home happy, not coming home and not wanting to go back the next, teachers , just a word of advice, keep your hands off our kids and stop all types of abuse
On 4th of February the Principal of the GVIC had pressured students to sign an undertaking without the consent of the parents as they are "Minor" and do not understand anything about documents. There were few articles in that undertaking and the students had to sign. Is this bullying tactic being employed by the school to instil fear in the students and mentally torture them? Does the principal know that this is totally UNLAWFUL practice and can be dealt by the law...The board must immediately look into this matter with urgency as the parents were not informed that their child would be pressured to sign documents...The contents are still UNKNOWN to the parents...Can these signed documents be released to the PARENTS??? Members of Board and PTA please look into this at your earliest???
ReplyDeletegreen valley islamic college staff
ReplyDeleteFEAR ALLAH AND REMEMBER HE IS WATCHING AT ALL TIMES,
stop mistreating these kids
subhan allah, how is it that we are now lebs vs fijians, whats happening?? arent we all muslims?? we are supposed to be one ummah, .
ReplyDeletei agree with the above comment, how is it all of a suddent we are now dividing this school into lebs and fijians. why is it that before this new principal walked in and took over we never had this problem, doesnt the board realize this new principal is bad news and bad for the school, since he has walked in there has been nothing but trouble, he is dividing this school into two sects, LEBS AND FIJIAN, in all the years of GVIC we have never had any problems like this, just a word of advice to the board
ReplyDeleteWAKE UP AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT BEFORE ITS TOO LATE, there have been alot of complaints about him and the school, you have to watch out cause the word is out how bad the school has become
The only alternative to resolve all problems is to address all our concerns that we have directly to the Ministry who are responsible for approval and to the Prime Ministers Office, The AIS and the Media who should be aware of what is transpiring in this community. Once a letter is sent an independent inquire will start and it will go to the core of any matter. Writing in the blog has not helped in any way. Nor talking with the Principal has helped. The Principal lacks inter personal skills and if any issue is raised he instantly gets angry - Y? Maybe over stressed and unable to cope with the community. He should be sent for counselling so a congenial atmosphere could be created in school congenial for study...The school needs leaders who possess good interpersonal skills for communication...He lacks empathy...while at the same time uses his vision to uplift the standard of the school...May be this is one of the reason why many teachers get angry - Over Stressed at work and dumping all stress on the children...
ReplyDeleteSome two weeks ago year 8 students were given a Maths test and majority of the students failed. The Maths teacher had called all parents whose children failed and demanded the parents to sit and discuss with their child. This teacher who called was very commanding and rude with no people skills.
ReplyDeleteAfter discussing with the child it was discovered that the same teacher who made it a big issue by calling parents was away from the class for a week and as soon as she came back she took the test.
It seems that it is a type of tradition of the school that whenever teachers need to be out of class they can.
If majority of the class failed, the Maths teacher SHOULD bear the responsibility that is something wrong in her teaching?
Is she teaching the correct strategies in solving problems?
What other methods were used to ensure that all students understood it properly?
She must also be consistent in class in taking the Maths subject because there are HARDWORKING PARENTS who pay fees to the school and these parents wants to see improvement in their children.
I am also aware that many Maths teachers have changed and I dont know how long will this trend continue...When will our children get quality education???
to the comment above this one, how do we get in contact with the ministry and prime ministers office. i so agree with you , speaking to the principal has not helped, he is very rude and disrespects and gets angry very easily.
ReplyDeletehe needs to be changed, asap, before this school does close down.
they have brought in this new discipline worker, she thinks her system is working, she needs a course in how to interact with parents herself, she is rude and doesnt know how to approach parents at all. if she thinks that this school is such a good school then why does she have her kids in sule college.
ReplyDeleteya rab help this school.
ReplyDeleteschool baord is dumb. they get old and unqualified teachers and now they hire a teacher and make him new principal. why cant the school board get it right.
ReplyDeletethis school will suffer more because they kicked out and abused sheik naiem. look whats happning to them. president ajmaat has got bowl cancer he is dying. sura council prseident intaz hes daughter got divorced. faiyas ali wife having affair with moahmmed brother.rafiqs daughter has become green valley slut.another sura man ibrahim dying in hospital.
ReplyDeleteto the above comment, i think all this is happening to them cause they dont fear allah (swt), how can they turn a blind eye to what is happening around them, Allah (swt) is showing them that He is watching them,
ReplyDeleteto the board FEAR ALLAH AND FACE THE FACTS, your school is going downhill day by day, and i dont think it will be long before they close the school down
one thing i would like to ask is, what are the board and principal hiding,.
ReplyDeletewhy is it whenever someone wants to ask them something they avoid it and turn a blind eye, do they not fear Allah. have they opened up this school purely as an investment, looks like it, absolutely no concern of the childrens welfare at all. they need to be open for discussion with the parents when they have concerns about their children, this cannot keep on going, stop disrespecting these parents and children, we need to stand by each other not against each other, we have alot of critiscm as it is without us doing it to ourselves.
I heard the teacher mr nizar that was telling naplan answers was forced to resign. is it true. can someone plz confirm this.
ReplyDeleteplease go to www.gvicnews.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteAs salamu alaykum everyone, i just wanted to ask, where did you get all these false information from? I'm from this school, in year 7 and I'm part of the SRC.
ReplyDeleteI don't think the school is going down hill, in fact, its going up hill!! I've been at this school since kindergarden, and my sister since year 3. Right now, we are in the top classes for everything, ok ok some teachers don't know how to teach, but its not all about the teachers! Some children just use the excuse, but in fact, if the children wants to learn, he/she could.
An example is a girl in year 11, shes been at this school since kindy too, although the teachers wont good, shes the smartest girl in the school, high distinction for all her national tests, in her 90's for year 10 certificate, and more achievements!
I'm in the top english class, there's more people in my class than the low class!
In my opinion, i love my school, not everything that you hear is true!
Salams<33
shud up your mouse obama! liesss niggaaa this school is buuuuuullshit
DeleteNSW and Federal Government have frozen funding to these Islamic schools in Sydney after concerns about financial irregularities;Al-Noori Islamic Primary School in Greenacre,Malek Fahd College in Greenacre and The Australian Islamic College of Sydney in Mount Druitt . Green Valley Islamic College 'GVIC' financial practice is the same as these mentioned 3 schools. Here are some of the reasons why the NSW and Federal Government should crackdown on gvic and mlnsw.
ReplyDeleteGVIC land is owned by the not-for-profit Muslim League of NSW Inc 'mlnsw'. The entire gvic college board, are also administrators of the mlnsw. The mlnsw primary role is to manage the Green Valley Islamic Centre, which holds a mosque on the same site as the school.
GVIC school pays rent to mlnsw and has also advanced money to mlsnw in the past for the purchase of other properites and land. Mr Shareek Mohammed a Mortgage Broker 0403229171 Shareek.Mohammed@aussie.com.au of Aussie Loans and Mr Faiyaz Ali 'a failed business man'0424157786 alif0786@hotmail.com have been the key people in the financial transactions of the gvic and mlnsw for the past 11 years. Both these individuals have been receiving payments either directly or indirectly in the form of bank loan commissions and 'kick backs' from contractors working
at gvic and mlnsw.
individuals on the gvic college board are and having been doing business dealings as such school security, handyman and maintenance with gvic school.
The depth of 'conflict of interest' at gvic widens as, not only the entire gvic college board are administrators of the mlnsw but the gvic college board spouses are also teachers at the gvic school.
Islamic religious teachers on gvic payroll have been threatened by the gvic college board and the principal to work at the mosque. Mr Ziyad Ali's a religious teacher employment at gvic was terminated because he refused to work at the mosque.
gvic has purchased stationery and computers-laptops, printer, including a computer server for the mlnsw staff and office.
a member of mlnsw and gvic is Mr Azaad Khan. ICAC Independent Commission Against Corruption stated that Mr Azaad Khan was involved in the 2009 City Rail procurement fraud together with hes son Wasim Khan.
These group of people are not doing the right thing with taxpayers' money and should kicked out of the mlnsw and gvic. The members of mlnsw need to wakeup before the NSW and Federal Government freezes funding to gvic. Why should the students suffer at the expense of these corrupted and greedy people.
How dare you speak about Shareek MOhammed like that you don't even know whats going on he isn't being paid whatsoever he is just doing charity work personal lives shouldn't be attributed in this forum. I know him personally and he is a great man who only helps the community
Deleteabout time the state and fedrel govt looks into this school. lot of corruption going in GVIC from the very first day. this name faiyaz has always come up and linked to corruption. just sack both shareek and faiyaz and other school board whose wives are teachers at this school.
ReplyDeletewoow keyboard warrior here what a bitch post this under anonymous who are you and how do you know them u know nothing so why should you talk shit like that
DeleteShareek makes money from the mosque and school. hes wife teaching is third class fiji style. but heres the best part. there sons go to a different high school. this proves that that dont have faith in the gvic school and its teachers.
ReplyDeletefuck off you don't know them personally if you really d why not post this under anonymous there are personaly reasons why they don't go to that shcool
Deletehow many people on the board have university degrees ?
ReplyDeletewell - i dont think any of them are working! that says it all!!!!!
